Abstract

The present study was designed with the aim of explaining the capabilities of artificial intelligence in open source supply chain risk management within the framework of smart governance. The present study was a qualitative research that was implemented in the field. The qualitative method used in the present study was of the grounded theory type. The participants in the present study included experts aware of the research topic. The participants in this study were sampled using purposive sampling and with a homogeneous sampling approach while observing maximum diversity. This issue was shaped until theoretical saturation was reached. Finally, 13 interviews were conducted in this regard. These individuals included experts who were fully aware of the subject of the present study. In other words, they had valuable background in this regard from a scientific and practical perspective. The data collection tool in the present study was a semi-structured interview. According to the results of this study, it was determined that the capabilities of artificial intelligence in open source supply chain risk management within the framework of smart governance include proactive prediction and identification of risks, intelligent analysis of data and structural risks, improved decision-making and risk response management, intelligent continuous monitoring, control and surveillance, and automation and increased efficiency of risk management.
